Steel Strapping offers the widest range of break strengths. It is the most rigid with virtually no elongation. Regular duty is a low carbon steel strapping product manufactured for low to medium applications such as package reinforcements, unitizing, bundling, palletizing and box closure. High carbon steel strapping is heat treated for strength and shock resistance. Applications are unitizing, high compression loads, securing heavy steel coils, and open top railcar and trailer loading.
Polypropylene Strapping is an economical packaging solution designed for light duty unitizing, palletizing and bundling. The embossed products provide efficient seal joints and superior split resistance. Offered in a wide variety of sizes, our polypropylene runs flawlessly though automatic and semi-automatic equipment from many manufacturers.
Polyester Strapping is one of the strongest plastic straps and serves as an alternative to steel strapping on brick and lumber. Its excellent recovery properties help absorb impact without breaking.
High Recovery Nylon Strapping is normally the best choice for replacing regular duty steel strap for cost reduction. For cost and performance reasons, it often replaces polyester as well. HR Nylon is elongated when applied under tension. When the load shifts or contracts, the strap contracts. Problems of loose straps or loads are often eliminated with the use of HR Nylon. A demonstration will show the obvious advantages.
Specialty Strapping – Chord strap, Stainless steel, Punched, Galvanized, Zinc Coated are all available.
